I honestly don't know who wrote the positive reviews on this book. We should all just sue them and ask for our money back. ;-)I am am intensivist and I find it downright useless. Useless for students, residents, fellows, APRN/PAs and myself. It's incredibly impractical, more than Marini (not Marino). It goes into useless details where it doesn't matter, and gives downright generic information in other places. It's very hit and miss, more miss. Not only that, but it's printed on heavy thick paper (they should learn from Vincent's, a much better book at everything), and it's 90% text with too few images. I understand that this is a textbook, not a manual, but more than anything it's just a vehicle for CV padding. I just can't see who this book was written for.I don't know whether to be upset that I wasted $60 on this, or be happy that I didn't spend the full price. There are many much-much better books than this. Stay away.
